Our studio is a separate room from the event space, with mics already set up and a calendar of its own. Walk in, sit down and record — you can book the studio even when there's an event on next door.
What it costs
Rates are shown so you can plan. Nothing is collected online — we confirm your session by email and go over payment then.
Standard rate
$85.00/hr
Open to anyone — you don't have to be a member to record here.
- 1-hour minimum, booked in half hours
- Up to 4 hours in one session online
- 9:00am–7:00pm, Monday through Saturday (San Antonio time)
- 30 quiet minutes between sessions for the room reset
Recording engineer
$60.00/hr
Levels set, record hit, an ear on the room the whole time.

Four broadcast microphones
Studio dynamic mics on boom arms, so up to four people can record together.
Multi-track mixer
Separate levels for every mic and one-touch recording — no laptop needed.
Headphones for everyone
Four sets of closed-back monitoring headphones, plugged in and level-matched.
A treated, quiet room
Acoustic panelling and soft furnishings, so you're not fighting echo or street noise.
Lit and camera-ready
Soft key lighting and a clean backdrop if you want to film while you record.
Wi-Fi and remote guests
Fast Wi-Fi and a laptop input so you can bring a remote guest into the recording.
How to get ready
- Arrive five minutes early — your session starts and ends on the clock.
- Bring your outline or questions on paper or a phone; there's no printer in the room.
- Bring a USB-C drive if you'd like to walk out with your raw audio the same day.
- Skip loud jewellery and rustly fabrics — the mics pick up everything.
- Water is welcome in the room; please keep drinks away from the mixer.
- We reset the room after every session, so pack up inside your booked time.
